The persistent odor in the toilets and showers, along with unclean equipment, raises serious health concerns. Poor ventilation, damp areas, and inconsistent cleaning create a breeding ground for harmful pathogens—leading to risks like staph infections, athlete’s foot, ringworm, and other skin diseases common in gyms.

Whether due to maintenance or unhygienic member behaviour, it’s the gym’s responsibility to uphold strict hygiene standards. Regular deep cleaning, proper ventilation, and visible sanitation protocols are essential.

We’re here to improve our health, not risk it.

我用他们健身房会员一年多了，在Xpress sky arena kk的体验非常不好，第一次被罚RM50，理由是怕楼下的教堂抱怨噪音，所以你要放垫子。这是我们顾客的问题，还是你们在施工时没做好，没多加隔音垫。如果知道有这个问题，为什么还要叫我们顾客负责你们自己施工的问题呢？你们应该自己去装修处理这个问题，而不是叫我负责你们的问题。我在古晋level up BDC用了这么久，没有出现过这样的问题。这种处理方式让我心里很不舒服。我要求取消会员卡，他们说不行，要我先交RM50的罚款，才可以取消卡。我想问你们不想让我做你们的会员，为什么不让我取消呢？今天是13/05/25，我只用了13天，付了整月的会员费。我可以退款吗？他们说不行，然后我问为什么要付那rm50，他们说会给我回电话，但现在不敢打电话给我，他们知道理亏。谁还会用你的健身房会员卡？我今天正式通知你取消我的健身房会员资格。如果你拒绝给我，我将用法律手段来解决任何未来的问题。请你们在还没做好隔音问题，麻烦关店.

I have used the gym membership for more a 1 year, and the experience at Xpress sky arena kk was very bad. The first time I was fined RM50, the reason was that I didn’t put the mat because I was afraid of the church downstairs complaining about the noise. Is this our customer’s problem, or you didn’t do a good job in the construction, and didn’t add more sound insulation mats. If you know there is this problem, why do you ask us customers to be responsible for your own construction problems? You should go to the renovation to deal with this problem. Instead of asking me to be responsible for your problem. I have used it in Kuching BDC for so long and there is no such problem. This way of handling makes me feel very uncomfortable. I asked to cancel the member card and they said no, I have to pay the fine of RM50 before I can cancel the card. I want to ask if you don’t want me to be your member, why don’t you let me cancel it? Today is 13/05/25, I have only used it for 13 days and paid the entire month’s membership. Can I refund it? They said no, then I asked why I need to pay because your soundproofing is not good. They said they would call me back, but I don’t dare to call them now, it’s unreasonable. Who will use your gym membership card again? I have officially notified you today to cancel my gym membership. If you refuse to give it to me, I will resort to legal means to resolve any future issues.

Not helpfull staffs, and when you get inside all of the members inside keep lookin at you like you re some of criminal just because its your first time go there and u dont know how to handle those equipments inside. What worse, even if you call the staff they ignore you. First and last i came here. Sorry

Usually I don't review about the gym I have been regularly going but this time it made me do this because this gym make me very disappointed already especially the unreasonable fine that has been notified me because that day it was raining heavily and everywhere inside the gym was flooded with rain water (that's a negative point here) and suddenly blackout after lightning strike. So how am i suppose to put the gym weight back when suddenly the whole gym went blackout for hours and can't see anything. And after the next day they notified me and fined me for simply not put the weight back. This is absolutely unreasonable when i see a lot of people simply put the gym equipment everywhere without getting a fine at all.

Another negative part was the toilet is always not clean and very dirty when sometimes the was basin sinks is clogged with dirty water that's disgusting. And the toilet bow also full of pee surrounding the sitter with makes me uncomfortable to use it.

Will i return back? For this kind of situation i might just go back to CityMall level up gym for better quality and management standard.

It's nice. It has many rules and regulations so you'll pay some fine if you don't follow it, like it's not even neglible or hurting others, you'll get fine too. They've a crew watching your every move so just follow the rules regardless how ridiculous it seems and you'll be okay. I didnt realize the other branches I've been to in other state has this sort of rules, but you gotta do what you can to survive and pay off debts. Overall great gym experience. But I prefer the other branches I've been too (not this state).

Spacious, well equipped, clean, friendly staff, easy to find parking. The only problem is the gymmers attitude who doesn't like to put back the weight plate/dumbell/barbell to where it should be.
