光顾了几次，这里有个优点就是茶室开得很早，适合早起的人来吃早餐。我试了鸡丝河粉，味道还不错，食材也算新鲜，当然你也可以额外加点鲜虾等配料。

炒粉也试过，分量足，整体表现不错。另外他们的虾面也很传统，不过味道稍微淡了一些。

至于茶水方面，Kopi就比较普通，平平无奇，没有什么亮点。

I’ve visited this place a few times, and one thing I appreciate is that the kopitiam opens very early—perfect for early risers looking for breakfast.

I tried the shredded chicken hor fun, and it was decent with fairly fresh ingredients. You can also customize it by adding extras like fresh prawns. I also tried the fried noodles, which came in a generous portion and tasted quite good.

The prawn noodles is done in a traditional style, though the flavor is a bit on the mild side.

As for the drinks, the kopi (coffee) was underwhelming—very average, nothing special.

Overrated recommendation found at xhs. 鸡丝河粉 soup taste weirdly sweet. Don't hav the real umami prawn taste. The sotong steam taste average. Coffee and roti bakar served here also disappointed. Coffee taste bitter and over condensed milk sweetness. Roti bakar just average.

However I see surrounding old folks locals are eating prawn noodles from another stall. Wonder is it the prawn noodles taste better than the overrated chicken noodles

I’ve been here many times years before this, but today was utterly disappointing. Ordered the usual Kai Si Hor Fun and sadly, the quality has deteriorated. In one of the photos, you can see a bowl of noodles with soup — not mine, but that was how it was presented to me as well. Once I’ve stirred the noodles to mix with the soup, it became like the second photo… barely any soup. Noodles were too soft, barely any broth so I was basically just ate a few spoons of tasteless noodles and I ended up only finishing the chicken and crab stick. Disappointing that it has come to this point.

Do not understand why the kai si hor fun served w the crabstick. The crabstick may add color to the dish but kill the authenticity of the traditional noodle of Ipoh.
The broth was palatable but not remarkable and has no distinct character.
The bean sprouts, chicken feet and jelly were not bad.

First, the Kai si hor fun was really good. One of the better ones in Ipoh. They also sell some squid with jelly fish. To me, it's ok only. 2nd, the fried kway teow deserved 3.8 stars. Not 4, because it needs more wok hei. There are better ones mentioned in my other post. The toast bread is a Must order. No point coming here and not eating the toast bread. The Kaya , butter, or whatever spread ordered, will be generously spread on the crispy bread. The bread is crispy because its thinly cut.
