Last minute booking on website but mistakenly chose wrong date. Called Jade Guesthouse to request date change. They accepted our request without hesitation. Reply us very promptly.

Check in was easy (self check in, clear instruction given thru wasap). Room, bathroom, walkway is clean. Shared bathroom/toilet is spacious, near to the room, easy to handle my toddler.

Easy access to everywhere nearby Jonker Street. If public parking is full, can find private parking area nearby for overnight parking.

Will stay here again next time if coming back to visit Melaka. Thanks Jade Guesthouse!

Thank you jade guesthouse for the extraordinary experience! I'm glad I stayed here, even if it was just for one night. If I ever return to Malacca, I'll definitely stay here again. The room was clean, spacious, the towels were clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the location was convenient with easy walking access to everywhere. The staff was also friendly. I'll definitely recommend people to stay here.

還沒住完十天，就迫不及待要寫評論了🤩 可以說當初就是為了這面對大街的窗！知道自己多數時間還是待在房間，因此有一個能靠近街市、共感馬六甲氛圍的空間很重要❗️Jade Guesthouse 的 203 號房完全是理想的樣子啊😌 推開窗就能聽到商家放的BGM、遊客的絡繹聲與腳步聲😌😌 Not to mention Yuji 始終是位 helpful host 🙏

Strategic and affordable place to stay. I can't count how many times I go back and forth to rest during the days, because of how close it is to the jonker street.

For those who dont mind with a bit of the noise, it is worthy to rent the room with the windows. The sound proof is still bearable during the busy weekend nights

The building might look old. But it is clean and smell good.

Room Type: 2N - Single Room with Private Bathroom

Since most of my activities are near Jonker Street, I found this place through a Google search.

The room is smaller than I expected, but it's good enough for one person. The bathroom, however, is much bigger than the room. Overall, it is clean. The only issue is that the door lock has a slight problem—I need to check it twice before leaving.

Don't worry about outside noise; it's quiet at night.

The guesthouse is self-service. The staff will contact you via WhatsApp to confirm your booking.

The location is very ideal since the guesthouse is within Jonker Street. We chose drop-off point to be at Casa Del Rio Hotel. It is within walking distance to walk to the guesthouse. The 3 of us stayed in a room without windows, so the atmosphere is not so welcoming. Basic cleanliness is acceptable. Just that there are insect cocoons at random places within the room. It will be good if the owner can do a thorough cleaning once a month to clear those cocoons. We spent $100+ for 3 nights.

The host sends the front door code, room key lock code, and Wi-Fi password via WhatsApp, so make sure to download WhatsApp before check-in.

To enter, use the small door to the right of the self-photo booth shop. I had trouble finding the entrance at first.

I stayed in a ground-floor room. Even though I kept the air conditioner on from check-in to check-out, it was extremely humid the entire time — it felt like being inside a fish tank. I found several hairs on the bed sheets, and there were orange stains on the towel, so the cleanliness wasn’t great.
There was no fridge, but bottled water was provided and 220V plugs are not supported.

The location Is unbeatable, right outside the night market, at walking distance from all the attractions, temples, museums, shops and restaurants. The common area was cleaned every day, spacious bathroom and toilet, easy auto check-in, great customer assistance available through WhatsApp. Towels, shampoo and shower gel are provided. Aircon working well. I would definitely suggest staying here!
