My family visited this amiazing place in January for 4 nights. It was unforgettable memory and perfect holiday. Martini and Stephanie really welcomed us and cared everything.

The bungalow we stayed was so lovely, absolutely clean. We really enjoyed good morning sunshine, bird's songs, scattered starlight.

Every meal was great, we were so excited when we sit on the table. The variety of fruits boosted our pleasure.

We did snorkeling on the tiny Island in front of the beach. It was nice spot for coral reef and fish watching.

We really thank AB, Martini and Stephanie for hospitality. We definitely recommend this beauitful place and really looking forward to visit again.

Great secret beach destination just about an hour from Kota Kinabalu airport, yet surrounded by lush nature and secluded. Only two simple wooden bungalows made in the local style, decorated with taste and very clean just a few steps from the white sand beach with pristine waters. Friendly family atmosphere, great food and several available activities: snorkel, scuba diving, trekking and more... The small resort is fully solar powered and uses water from a nearby mountain source, all garbage is either composted, recycled or disposed in the city. Highly recommended!

Mad respect to Andrew, Martini and Dragon for being such rad hosts. Such an epic place to be. 3 nights at the beach house was an amazing experience but Way to short for me. Rooms are clean, ample space. Each rooms are equipped with 5-speed ceiling fan + the night sea breeze which will put your a/c to shame. (You’ll be outside mostly in the day). Beds are clean and with fresh sheets when you check in. Toilets are insanely clean. You will not believe how nice the toilets are. The whole beach runs on green energy(solar panels) which is pretty sweet for the environment. The cafe front is a great place to chill in the day if you don’t plan on doing activities and after it gets dark. Food and coffee are amazing. Board games are available to disconnect from your electronics. Their staff, Earl and Shaiful, are also super friendly and helpful.

All in all, Sea Dragon Adventures is perfect for those looking to have a raw, unorthodox local kampong(village) vibe with the intention to disconnect and detox from the hustle and bustle of the city. Will return again for sure and hopefully longer stay this time. Definitely recommending this place.

My stay at Sea Dragon Adventures was amazing. Better than I imagined. The transportation that Martini recommended was very efficient. The driver picked us up at our hotel in the morning and the journey only took about 1.5 hours to the beach. The boat ride to Martini’s place is less than 10mins. Perfect for those who have motion sickness, you barely feel it cause it’s such a short trip.

Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly by Martini. She was very kind to help us with our baggages and showed us to our room. My family and I, 4 of us booked one of the Bungalows and it was very spacious and comfortable. Martini gave us a tour of the place and things to take note of which was very helpful as it is our first time staying at the beach. The Bungalow is very clean and is well maintained. Enough towels for the whole family but I would recommend to bring along your own toiletries. Also, lemongrass oil spray is very very useful to keep the mozzies away! I have no problem getting a good night sleep. It is not too warm at night. There’s a ceiling fan above the bed to keep the room cool.

In the day, there are plenty of things to do at the beach. My family and I opted for SUP instead and it was so fun! The sea wasn’t too choppy so it was easy to maneuver the board. If you’re not into water sports, then chilling at the cafe or the swing is nice too. There‘s nice breeze coming from the beach.

We only booked 2 nights so we didn’t get to experience the beach fully but the time that we spent was wonderful. A great place for family-bonding. I would definitely make this place my number one spot whenever I’m in KK again.
