Pricey compared to other massage places but the place is cozy and quiet. The massage was great and it’s the better ones out there in Malaysia. We went on the weekdays so it’s peaceful. They offered warm green tea before and after massage. We tried 60 mins foot massage and it’s awesome and I’m sure body massage is even better.

Overall, staff is friendly and decent in skills.

Ambience is nice, unless guests talk along the corridor and it can be heard in the rooms. Agree with other reviews that kids should not be allowed past the lobby area and noise should be kept minimal.

Worst massage of my life. The masseuse did not even press a single muscle throughout the 1.5hr…. she was just rubbing and pressing for the sake of it.. Did not bother to locate where the muscles are in my body.. I paid for 1.5hrs and left the session feeling worse than before i started.. i think she caused my legs to hurt after the massage.. and i had to pay for another session at a different place…

first time trying thai odyssey and was blown away. i got the 30min foot/ leg massage by anna, lovely lady. while some reviews might say that it is too expensive, thai odyssey does not forget about hygiene, atmosphere and patience for the client

pros:
- hygiene: each towel was pristine white and was clean, floors were not dirty, and each masseuse wore a face mask
- not pushy: front desk lady was not pushy, patient and didn’t force me to do a certain massage
- ambience/ atmosphere: air conditioning was nice, not too cold and not too warm, calming music played with birds chirping
- for my experience, the masseuses were NOT chatting to each other loudly and obnoxiously, very quiet and polite to each other and to the clients
- and overall relaxing and effective massage that really hit the spot

improvements:
- while i did not need the pressure to change, it could be an improvement to ask the client if the pressure of the massage is okay

and a friendly reminder to tip your masseuse, even if it’s 5, 10 or 15 ringgit. if they have to look at your (crusty) feet and legs, the least you could do is tip them.

First bad experience at Thai Odyssey..not sure if it’s the masseuses or just a bad day but all 4 of us had the same review..3 were extremely painful massages and 1 was a super lazy massage. During the feet wash, Jinny just rinsed my feet and swirled the shower heads around. This was the most unprofessional Thai Odyssey massage to date.

Thai Odyssey is my choice in JB for consistently clean facilities that inspire confidence in the hygiene standards. What can be improved is the consistency in the quality of the massages. Somewhat variable according to who you get.

Bit on the pricier side but the overall massage experience was very good. Massages felt more intentional and not just going through the motion (as you get with places that serve higher volume). Would definitely come back!

Newly relocated within the mall and first time seeing the revamped concept of Thai Odyssey. A very daring and and forward change in concept. Modernised design with thai influence elegantly decorated. The atmosphere gets elevated to the next level for customer. The massage is always good. Experience is always excellent. The only massage palour with consistent quality throughout the country. Only downside is last appointment at 9pm. But because it is located within a mall hence i guess it does not operate late into the night.
