Octo Gastrobar in Miri has got the atmosphere just right—laid-back but lively, with music that leans into the Gen Z playlist (which I shamelessly enjoyed, by the way). It’s the kind of place where you can unwind without feeling like you're shouting over a DJ or stuck in awkward silence.

The beer was cold and spot-on, which really is all you need sometimes. Whether you're out with your girl friends or just kicking it with the homies, it’s a solid pick for a night out.

Definitely planning to swing by again soon—good drinks, good vibes, and even better company. What more could you want?

This place is going to be the next "IT" destination in Miri! For those who love good drinks, millennial + Genz musics, delicious choices of foods, this is the place to be.
The crowd is amazing! The DJ is dj-ing! LGBT friendly bar. Nobody cares or judge about you. Definitely pass the vibe check! ❤️👍🏻

If you visit to Miri and looking for a place to chill or party, this is the place you must go. The crowds, the atmosphere are so cool! I really love it.

Good food with good service friendly staffs. This is a bar so expect the music to be louder than normal dining restaurants. Price is higher than average restaurants in Miri.

Had a bad experience here, ordered the iberico pork ribs plus others. One hour after we ordered, we went to check up on our order again and was told the pork ribs order wasnt taken. We told them if you can make it for us straight away we are still willing to order it but if not we can cancel the order. They mentioned can, so we proceeded.

Half an hour later the order was still not here and when we checked they kept saying its otw and cannot cancel as they were making it. So only 2 hours after we arrived the pork ribs arrived. Not much in the way of an apology except a rushed sorry for the late order then the waiter went away.

For RM59, there was also only 4 ribs, and 2 of them were mostly bone. Quite an unpleasant experience overall.

NON-HALAL
Environment: 6/10 (good lighting and music but due to tight spaces between tables especially when it’s rush hour in the night)
Food : 8.5/10 ( fusion cuisine of Asian, Mexican and Italian, advisable to share between a group of friends, I believe the food are prepared with quality control, DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED TO ORDER THE FRIED WINGS, it’s very basic)
Hygiene: 7/10 (clean floors, surroundings and utensils)
Service: 6/10 ( quick response from the staffs, and food prep took around 10 mins, boss and staffs was friendly)
Alcohol : 7/10
(Happy hours 6-8pm beer 99RM for 10 glass, after hours are 145RM) shots stop serving at 10pm, cocktails are legit with reasonable price)
