My spoused and I were allocated to chalet 1 for a 2-night stay. I am delighted to say that I was greatly impressed by the breathtaking view from the villa. The package includes a local breakfast. Furthermore, the room was impeccably clean. The owner, Mr. Deepak Singh Gill, was extremely accommodating. We are sincerely grateful for our time at the villa. Despite the need to ascend the stairs, overall we are enjoying a pleasant experience 😘

View is nice and cooling environment
But the room maintenance is bad. Toilet bowl has yellow stain and bathroom is not clean. Blanket has smell as if it was not changed. Hair dryer not functional.
Breakfast provided is pathetic. Tasteless roti canai and dhal

Good Experience having family staycation here. But cleanness can be improve at open kitchen area. As it expose to small lizards, there will be animal dropping over kitchen appliances.

Very spacious and comfortable room for six people.. very nature.. their breakfast very delicious. nasi lemak sambal ayam.. swimming pool not so big but only 5 of us use it.. so it is good enough.. need to climb stairs to go to the room.. you can make your coffee anytime here.. either at your pool or your room..

The wind is very strong, and i can feel the container room shaking, along with the glass door. It's not worth the price. it feels like a budget hotel. Walking up is difficult as the path becomes very slippery, especially when it rains, which makes me feel unsafe. The overall cleanliness is acceptable, but the pool water has a noticeable smell, making it seem less clean, I also felt nasty and experienced itchiness after swimming, which makes me question hygiene.

The Hill Janda Baik has strategic location . However there are several things that can be improved or may need to take into accounts for those intended to choose this place for their trip .

pros
- very nice view . one can enjoy panoramic view of lush greenery around the hill
- prompt response during booking
- good water pressure despite the location
- clean and aesthetically pleasing room
- no tv , this is an advantage for me as it provide more opportunity for family bonding
-plenty of parking

disadvantages
- steep hill , not suitable for very small kids , elderly and frail
- swimming pool water is murky . most probably because of the groundwater but maybe not acceptable to some
- mosquitoes. most probably because of the stagnant water but we had been to other resorts in janda baik but the hill has comparatively more mosquitoes compared to some .
-cleanliness of the staff quarters in front of the resort can be improved .
- breakfast are limited . they provide free cereals and milk, nasi lemak and 3 in 1 cofee .

one must remember not to bring heavy luggage as the hills it can prove very challenging to bring them up . all in all a good experience for our family
