Cantik sangat this place. Didnt know it exist kat Malaysia. Selalu makan kat Pineyard je. Resort ni lepas guardhouse kedua pineyard. Makanan dia sedap especially duck pizza and chicken wings. View cantik wey sesuai nak healing2.. next trip nak datang lagi. Thank you semua staff friendly kat sini.

Lokasi jauh dari bandar. Pakej penginapan bersama 3 kali makan sehari, senang dan tak perlu keluar jauh2 untuk makan. Resort sunyi dan relax. Enjoy!

I stayed at Vanavasa and was quite disappointed by how a simple issue was poorly handled. The room had no aircon and the fan wasn’t working. We called reception and waited nearly an hour without clear updates, only to be moved back to a different room with the same layout.

What made it worse was that the next day, one staff told me it was probably my fault for pressing the wrong button on the remote. But the fan remote has just a few basic buttons😂what could I have pressed wrongly? That comment felt unprofessional and made me uncomfortable, as if the blame was being put on me.

To be fair, the other staff were all very friendly and helpful, and I really appreciated. They did offer a complimentary bottle of red wine, which I accepted even though it wasn’t quite my taste.

However, for the price we paid, I felt the experience didn’t match. Calls to reception for a buggy were mostly unanswered, whatsapp replies were slow, and small details in the room were disappointing, like two single beds pushed together instead of a king, cheap plastic hooks😅and the overall facilities were quite limited.

The good part, the food was tasty and filling my big appetite bf. The scenery was peaceful and beautiful, and the general vibe of the resort was relaxing. Most of the staff had great attitudes and were warm and welcoming.

But unfortunately, due to the service inconsistencies and the mismatch between the experience and the price, I personally wouldn’t recommend this resort. There are better options available for the same or even lower price.

Food - 3 meals were provided: dinner, breakfast and lunch. So no need to bring any outside food.

Staff - all are friendly! Shout out to the lady receptionist, and our kitchen server Mr Siva. 5-star services!

Room - clean, comfy, no aircond but no need as the weather is cool, choose the pool view - closer to the dining place and pool. WiFi signal is strong.

Infinity pool - pristine water, sufficient size, nice view!

Will definitely come again! Keep up the good work and maintain the service quality.

To say that my weekend stay here was amazing would be a total understatement. From the moment I contacted the team via WhatsApp for reservations, the service I received was warm and welcoming. Thia, of course, continued to be so when I arrived and was evident throughout my stay. It was a slow weekend, so I almost had the entire place to myself. I love the serenity and peace and quiet here. The late evening and early morning mists really cool down the temperature, and during the day, I lazed around the pool. All of my meals were included and the food is here good. There were sufficient options during each meal time, and the F & B really did a good job. The entire place is clean and well kept. I plan to come back again in Dec to experience a much cooler climate then! The place is great for a quick weekend getaway for families, couples, and also solo travellers who may be seeking solitude and peace.

First time being in Janda Baik, especially VanaVasa Resort, and the view is breathtaking!
For nature lover like myself, this is a good place to stay to get away from the city and connect with nature.
The hospitality is tiptop
The food is overall great, BBQ dinner is splendid especially on the lamb, but the option quite limited
The room is nice, with great view, but will consider to stay at Chempaka room next time which the view is much more better.

Overall experience, i rate 4.5 stars 🌟
