Came here during happy hour and was excited to discover that Miner’s Arms has reopened! It was my first visit to the new location, and the moment I stepped inside, it brought back so many childhood memories.

I had a Whiskey Sour, fresh oysters, and smoked duck breast, everything was absolutely delicious. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the cocktail was well-crafted.

The nostalgic atmosphere really adds to the overall experience. If you enjoy old-school charm paired with good food, this place is definitely worth a visit. The service was friendly, and I had a great evening here.

Finally, a whiskey bar with food in Ipoh~ love it! Definitely coming back again!

Beyond brilliant! I was a bit foul about Ipoh until I discovered the Speakeasy at the Miners Arms. We arrived at 5 (opening hour) and stayed for a meal and a decent bottle of wine... great music... great ambience... great everything. Couldn't speak more highly of the upstairs whiskey lounge. 11 out of 10.

One of the nicest restaurants in old town. The thing Tht really stood out was the awesome personalized service. The food was really good. We stopped by just to have a beer but ended up staying for several beers as well as the burgers and tirimisu

Fantastic food. Loved the tea baked chicken. Really delicious. Oxtail soup was fantastic too.

Server was very friendly. Food was also served very quickly.

Nice place. Relaxing and the music is not too loud. We can talk normally. The service bar guy is awesome. He can make any drinks you requested. My husband and I really enjoyed the place. We will come again once we are in Ipoh.

The price are reasonable too.
Ohhh!!! Our food was so yummy. Well prepared through the chef’s heart. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Come here for the nostalgic dining experience if you know how the old Miner’s Arms used to be. On my recent trip back to ipoh I visited this new Miner’s Arms, it’s nice to see some old heritage shops being repurposed. Oxtail soup and dinner rolls bring back the memories.

Delicious food, brilliant ambiance, and best of all, awesome service. We were waited on by Jeremy, who was very attentive. We ordered the stuffed crab, squid ink pasta, nasi lemak, mushroom soup, tomato and mozzarella pizza, crème brûlée, and lava chocolate muffin. We loved every bite.

Stopped by for a dessert and drinks. The venue is very funky and something different. Sadly, they were out of tiramisu so we had a waffle instead and it was really delicious! There was a good range of drinks, and whilst an espresso martini wasn’t on the menu, the bartender made one for me and it was one of the best I’ve ever had!
