I had a great time staying two nights at Wild Lodge. Jason is a fantastic host. I booked the night hike and night boat safari with him, the groups were small and the guides were excellent! They clearly enjoyed their work, which made the experience really fun. The beds in the hostel are comfortable and come with curtains. Everything was also very clean. Thanks, Jason!

Great hostel, Jason was very serviceable and friendly. He works very hard to keep the place clean & tidy and it shows. The day trek through the jungle we booked via him was also great; NKS offers a similar trek but with 50 people. We went with a very small group which made the whole experience a lot better.

Also, he has beers, as the only place in Kuala Tahan. Just dont expect to stay in the same room as your friends/partner when you book at Wild Lodge; the hostel is small and with only 14 beds accomodations like this are impossible.

Would highly recommend this place if you’re going to Taman Negara - the rooms are super clean, and Jason, who manages the hostel, is a brilliant host, who remember everyone’s names. The facilities are simple but well looked after -the beds were comfy and the air con was great! Would 100% stay here again if I came back to Tama Negara. Me and my girlfriend felt very at home!

The tours were much smaller (and a bit cheaper) than if you book with one of the big travel agencies that run the buses to the national park, which meant they were more personable and enjoyable. The guides were excellent, especially our night walk guide!!! NKS and Han travel will stop you in Jerantut and try to sell you tours as you swap buses, but Jason had already sent us through his options so we knew they were better.

The hostel is in a great location - just seconds from the floating restaurants and the boat taxis that take you across the river to the national park. It’s social but in a very chill way - it was nice to sit with the other guests after a hike, have a drink and discuss what animals we saw in the park! Thanks again Jason!

Perfect hostel for meeting new people and trekking in the jungles.
Jason is very friendly. He's always there if you have any questions or problems.

The rooms are clean, as are the showers and toilets. There's also hot water. The beds are comfortable and there are plug sockets nearby.

The location is perfect, close to restaurants and stores.
You can go there with your eyes closed.

We loved our stay at Wild lodge, the room was clean , the beds comfortable , there are 3 toilets and 3 showers , I never had to wait, the outside area is lovely and it’s location is so convent. Above all Jason was super helpful and friendly, he is the person to talk to when booking tours , his in-house guides (Farin and Imran) were especially good, his priority is small group sizes so you can get the best experience.
Also he sells drinks and has a water filter and a friendly cat 🐈‍⬛

Sehr saubere Zimmer und viel Platz, dafür das man sich es teilen muss. Dusche und Toiletten okay. Betten etwas unbequem aber ausreichend.
