I had a fantastic time and couldn't recommend enough. ||||Food was amazing, all fresh and organic. We are vegetarian and they were more than happy to accommodate with massive platters of food at every meal. ||||Staff were incredible, friendly and made you feel very welcome. Would recommend staying mainly so you get a chance to meet these lovely people. ||||Fantastic diving, lots of water activities on offer, and massive rooms!

We arrived in the noon time & were greeted warmly with passion fruit juice. The check-in process is fast and smooth. Our lunch was very served deliciously with steamed crabs, fishes, chicken and 2 types of organic vegetables. We bought the river cruise package which started at 4pm. The river cruise was very exciting and fun as we managed to see Probasis monkeys, birds, bats etc. The host, Samantha, the boat driver and tour guide, Max are very friendly and experienced. Under the beautiful sunset, the river cruise ended around 6.30pm. After dinner, we tried the wonderful fireflies cruise which we saw sparkling fireflies, crocodiles and the amazing stars with some soothing music and Max’s talented singing. We also highly recommend fishing package as it was a fulfilling and pleasant experience. Would recommend families to visit for great natural outing experience. The staffs are very helpful and friendly too!

We really enjoyed our Holliday. Great staff, good rooms and surprisingly good food especially the fruit. Fast all the food come from the farm. Great hospitality, the staff was very helpful. We could upgrade our room to a lake bungalow, we liked so much. Mabul island is about 40 min. and the dive is great, but the island is very dirty and smell terrible, that’s why Sipadan mangrove resort for diver is a good choice. Unfortunately they don’t have the permission to Sipadan yet.

The resort is 40min drive from the airport as the staff picked us up from Tawau airport. Once reached, we were served with chilling passion fruits and wonderful seafood lunch. We booked one night at Lake Mangrove Villa which they transported us with buggy. At 4pm, we went for the river cruise which lasted for 2.5 hours. Highly recommended this for family as you get to see different wildlives and the beautiful sunset on your way back. That evening we also went for fireflies cruise which we saw fireflies, crocodile and beautiful starry night. The tour guide also sing and play guitars for us. The best is the fishing boat experience which started at 8am. The boat captain is very experienced and helpful too. We really had lot of fun on the fishing trip. After that, the resort kitchen offered to cook your fishes for your lunch.
