**Prepaid Plans Can Leave You Stuck**

I often travel to Penang and massage at local stores. Each time, I am encouraged to sign up for membership through prepaid options. However, I want to warn you: if there’s a problem with the service, you will regret it. When issues arise, the store only cares about their own losses and ignores customer feelings. Customers end up losing out because their money is already in the store's hands, leaving them powerless to seek justice.

They may ask you to write a complaint letter and send it to their head office. After a long wait, you might have already left Penang , meaning you won’t receive any refund. This is their trick. Even if you complain, you won’t get any response.

Every time I go to Malaysia, I always visit Thai Odyssey for a massage. This time, my family and I came to Penang, and getting a massage was an important part of the trip.

You can find Thai Odyssey in various places around Malaysia. I’ve tried it in JB and Melaka, but this is my first time in Penang.

Like other branches, the shop is located in a mall, so you need to use the mall’s restrooms. The interior is pretty much the same, and what I like most is that their Thai massages are done on floor mats. Personally, I don’t enjoy massages on high beds 😅.

I chose the Thai massage, and I was quite satisfied with the masseuse's technique. The two hours passed very comfortably.
My family members opted for the oil massage, but they felt it was just average. One of my family member found it a bit painful, probably because the masseuse applied more pressure.

The shop’s environment was clean enough, but I hope they can provide a form for customers to fill out, allowing them to choose the intensity of the massage. This would help the masseuse better understand the customer's needs

I was the regular customer who often came here for massage. The prices keep increasing, from rm130++ until now is RM170++. It is really expensive. Last Sunday, I paid RM170.60 by card for one hour aroma therapy massage. After 4 hours, I received phone call and i was told that i need to go back because that staff keyed in the price wrongly, i need to pay them 20 cents..... why do I have to go back to pay 20 cents because of her mistake? Let me tell you, as a former regular customer ( I even purchased one-year voucher twice), I will not come back again due to this poor and rude customer service. Please think again about the outcome before you call your customer for this kind of reason. (not customer's fault)

Overall experience was great, you really get what you pay for. Price wise, theirs are quite high than other massage spa around the area but the service and quality were there. They clean your feet first with the sugar scrub before the massage. The smell of the spa was also nice that can help you sleep while having your massage. The interior also looks clean. Great experience!

I visit Penang regularly and always use this particular outlet for an oil massage. The massage is consistently good from whichever therapist I am allocated, you can ask them to tailor the pressure to suit your needs and choose a massage table or mattress on the floor, whichever is better for you. Its very clean and well presented with a great choice of different smelling oils to suit your preference a traditional foot wash is included and lovely relaxing music is played whilst you having your massage. Miya and Ernie on the reception counter always give a warm friendly welcome and recently on my last trip explained the benefits and saving from being a member so I joined up! Having used other Thai massage outlets in the mall and nearby, I can definitely say this is the best in the area and great value overall. If you find yourself in Gurney Plaza with an hour or so spare give it a try, I'm sure you will be as impressed as I am.

허리가 아파서 바디마사지 1시간을 190링킷에 받았다. 가격은 매우 비싼 편이지만 인테리어도 깔끔하니 기대감을 가지고 들어갔다. 마사지사는 나름 열심히 오일과 밤을 바르며 마사지를 했다. 나름 맘족스러웠는데 씯고 나가려고 샤워실을 물으니 없단다. 그리고 핸드타올을 하나를 가지고 와서 내 온몸을 닦아냈다. 도대체 샤워실도 없으면서 오일 마사지를 하는건 뭐지 ? 샤워실도 없으면서 그렇게 비싼 가격은 뭐지 ?

To give relaxation to my muscles which had been tired during my trip of Penang, I visited this shop. State-of-the-art interior and clean facilities would welcome you. Firstly, you will choose which type of massage will be nice with the staff's guidance. Secondly, they will wash your feet. Before and after massage, they will provide a cup of tea for you. Thai Odyssey offers a number of massage packages. Like the Aromatherapy massage and you can choose from a few types of oil. The masseur is very professional. The centre is clean and comfortable. Service is very friendly. Better to make reservations.
