Visited The Monkey Coffee at Gunung Lambak last week, and while the jungle setting is serene, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The ordering system was confusing with no clear signage, and with just two staff working, service was slower than expected — though understandable. The coffee was decent but didn’t live up to the hype, especially considering the high price. It was way too milky, and with too much ice, the espresso flavor barely came through. It just didn't hit the mark for me.

The dessert was tasty, but also pricey for the portion size — I’ve had similar treats elsewhere for less. If you plan on going, be prepared for some monkey company and mosquitoes while you enjoy the peaceful environment.

I had an amazing experience at Monkey Cafe in Gunung Lambak, Kluang! The coffee was absolutely delicious – rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed. The vibe of the cafe is so cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and unwind. The highlight for me was the friendly and attentive waitress, who made sure everything was perfect during my visit. Highly recommend this cafe for anyone looking for a great coffee experience in a welcoming atmosphere!

1st time here as a homie. Love the vibe of the cafe. But its kinda unmanageable due to shortage of staff. Cust are quite a lot (at that moment). But they still provide a good service. Waiting for quite some time for my iced latte but totally understandable. Plenty of table with healing chair outside of the cafe. Inside of the cafe are kinda small. If u come with a big family/friends/company.. need to give some space for those who come to make new order. Cz the pastries isle is in the middle and people might wanna look around it to see. Mybe owner need to change the layout of the cafe so that more easier for cust to make order. My iced latte is not that good. But still acceptable as im not a coffee person. Might come again to try other menu. Overall i give 3/5!! Its a nice place to chill with nature vibe. 👌🏼👍🏻

was a decent cafe, lack in seating and facilities like outdoor fan/shade.

The food was overpriced with a small cup of matcha reaching RM16 and pain au chocolat at RM12 but both tasted edible only. The pastry wasn’t fresh and it’s just not cafe standard.

The place is q photogenic, the only good point.

It is a small, nice cafe at the entrance of Gunung Lambak. Newly opened. The seating area in the air-conditioned area is quite small, but there are plenty of seats outdoors. We had the niko matcha (taste is average) and the iced latte which was good. Small tables, so you can put a laptop but you can’t really have the drink on the same table. I would recommend coming to this cafe for a refreshing drink after your hike. Food options are mainly desserts and pastries which we did not try.
