Review: Royal Riviera Villa, Langkawi Island

My stay at Royal Riviera Villa in Langkawi was truly memorable. The villa offered a private pool, which provided the perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of.

For nature lovers, this place is a gem—surrounded by greenery and a calm, serene atmosphere. One of the highlights was enjoying breakfast right in the villa. They offer both local and American breakfast options, freshly prepared and served with care.

I also appreciated their flexibility with check-out; since there were no incoming bookings, I was graciously allowed a late check-out, which made my departure smooth and stress-free.

Highly recommended for those looking for a private, relaxing, and nature-filled stay in Langkawi.

Spent a total of 4 days & 3 nights here. Booked on booking.com and got a lot of cashback! Came here for family vacation & we resided at Villa Tun Teja. There are other villas as well. Receptionist was very polite & check in was hassle free.

Villa Tun Teja has 3 rooms. 1 master bedroom with king bed, 1 bedroom with queen bed & 1 bedroom with a bunk bed that can fits 3 person. This is the cheapest that we could find to accommodate 7 adults with its own private pool and an entire house to ourselves plus breakfast! I would say the price is a good value if you want to compare with other hotels or accommodations here at Langkawi. Not to mention it is quite secluded so it is very quiet at night. The living room was quite small though. The bathroom concept is open. There was no roof for the shower. This villa also does not have bath tub. You can check out the other villas if you wanted a bath tub, or a river view.

Good service as the staffs were very alert on your request. There is also their restaurant Rumah Makan Jebat, which was quite big, instagrammable & the foods’ price were affordable. Just a stone’s throw away from the villa.

I could say the only downside was I went here in late November. It was raining almost 24/7 and we couldn’t get to soak in the pool as well as prepare for a barbecue. Make sure to come to Langkawi on summer time. And there was also problem with mosquitoes. You need to buy mosquito spray before you reside here. There were A LOT of mosquitoes and since the bathroom is also open concept, be prepared to get bitten during your shower.

I lurve our 4 days 3 nights stay at this resort. The manager is very responsive if we have any requests. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. And the food from Jebat Restaurant is absolutely delicious. We have tried other accommodations on this lovely island, and this is our current favourite. This was our 1st time staying here, and will definitely not be our last. It is close the the airport, and you will be greeted with lovely views of the paddy fields and nature.

I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Royal Riviera, and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location is superb, offering a picturesque setting with a serene river and lush paddy fields. The spacious rooms catered perfectly to my large family’s needs.

The highlight, undoubtedly, is the inviting pool—a perfect spot to unwind. The on-site restaurant served delectable dishes, though there’s room for improvement in service speed. Despite minor delays, the courteous staff made every effort to enhance our experience.

The blend of nature and excellent service makes this place truly special. I highly recommend Villa Royal Riviera to anyone seeking a delightful retreat. Looking forward to returning for another memorable stay.

It's a nice place to stay with your family or friends for a couple of days. The house is cosy and spacious and the pool is exactly like on the pictures. We missed an oven or a toaster but generally we've enjoyed the stay there.

Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The breakfasts are terribly greasy . I saw a picture that the food was under the sun and they brought it to me the next day, it was clear from the drink. The pool is dirty, there are a lot of insects that bite you. The funds do not help. For that kind of money, you can find it in the best area and with the best service.
