Shop established since 1953 and currently it operates by third generation.

This is a typical pontian style wanton mee where it mixed with Kimball brand tomato sauce which probably hardly found at any other place.

Personally feel the source bit too much and overwrite the original noodles taste, should come back again to try the kosong (no source) type noodles. Wanton is good and fresh, however otak too much flour filling results in too chewy and flavour still far from original otak taste in muar.

Overall a good try for noodles with tomato sauces if you happened to visit this small and cozy town.

First stop in Pontian, had to try the wanton mee.

Ordered the large saucy version rm11 while my friend ordered the rm9.50 medium. Portion wise for noodles i would say they are generous.

Now into the taste, the black sauce was also in generous amount. My noodles that were piled were sufficiently sauced with the black sauce.

However, my disappoint came when the black sauce had a very muted taste. Not much flavour to it whatsoever, which was the biggest letdown. As such had to add more of the soy sauce and green chilli to pair with.

Wantons (were only given 2) were small, but tasted nice.

Overall wished that the noodles had a greater taste to them Not the best introduction to Pontian food.

Opens after 10.15am. Clean environment. Otah is fresh and good. Ordered 3 types of wanton noodle, tomatoes, black pepper, dark sauce. Taste is normal, not salty and char siew thinly sliced. Suspect they are not using any pork lard as Malay customers ordered.

Ordered all the 3 flavour to try. It turn out that the special black pepper one is my favourite! Next is the original tomato follow by the black sauce. Wanton is nice! But parking is not easy here, all the lots are full.

Very uniquely Pontian wanton noodles which was tasty. In my opinion, the original flavor is more delicious. Otak was also savory. Arrived at afternoon and shop was taking a break. Only opening from 2pm onwards so had to make a turn to explore other areas. Traffic around was very heavy during lunchtime period. Overall good meal option around Pontian area. 👍

Something different from usual wan tam mee. The food taste is alright. Possibly due to CNY, the service and attitude of the shop is not as expected. They just focusing on take away and tell most of the customer who walk in wait for long time.

We took the black wantanmee dry and a soup one. Rm7.50 for small and rm 9 for medium. Otah was rm1.30 each and drinks were charged on average rm4 per serving. Noodles and black sauce was nice. The wantan was tasty but each bowl only came with 2 wantan and 2 fishball with some thin slices of char siew. There was no cai xin vege at all. Soup and otah was also tasty. Overall, tasty but amount of "liao" was little.
