The best hamburger steak (pork) in SP! Richly flavored, juicy on the insides, cooked to perfection. Highly recommended to give this place a try! Slightly slow on the serving but it all offset with a delicious hamburger rice meal! The best part, it’s cheap and super yummy!

Had great dinner here, revisited few times, still good as always 😋 a good area to have comfortable meal. Left 4 star for atmosphere because personally felt that a bit cold while dining in. always like their 日式汉堡盖饭 & sandwich 🫶🏻

Hachimi Cafe serves high quality hand-drip coffee, and Japanese and Korean food.

Hachimi is located in Taman Intan, Sungai Petani. The main barista, who owns and runs the business, is a coffee fanatic. Coffee lover will enjoys the way he prepares coffee with precise measurement for each ingredients used. Furthermore, by just looking at the king of grinders, german-made Mahlkonic grinder, we know how detailed he is in making sure every cup is of highest quality.

Dirty coffee is recommended. It is cold milk at the bottom with half-cycle extraction of expresso on top. The result is smooth, rich and flavourful coffee drink that is very enjoyable.

We also tried the Yuzu coffee which is refreshing and something special. We prefer the stronger taste and aroma of the Dirty coffee over the Yuzu coffee.

As for the food, for the first timer the boss would recommend the Japanese Hamburg Rice bowl. There is also Korean Kimchi hot pot series, Japanese Salmon fried rice, Japanese Unagi fried rice, etc. The pork patty on the Hamburg rice bowl is tender. The Kimchi on the Kimchi Tofu and sliced pork hot pot has the right sourness and tastes good. Overall the food is delicious and suitable for our family with children and seniors.

Service is friendly. Price is reasonable.

Hachimi, according to the boss, he got rhe name from online popular song Hachimi. It is the transliteration of japanese words はちみ (ha chi mi), means 'honey', but it currently means adorable little animals, especially kitties in the chinese internet.

Ordered the Japanese hamburg rice bowl and soup rice. The food is tasty especially the patty. I also ordered the lemon tea, which is good, but the portion is a bit small. The waiting time for the food is around 20-30mins.

This cafe really amazed me and my family. Looks simple from outside, you might even call it 不起眼, but the food was really finger licking good. My fav was the Japanese Hamburg steak rice. It can really lighten up your day as the meat was so tender and juicy despite the thickness of the meat.

Had a small chat with the boss aka barista. He had failed many times to come up with this recipe so yeah I couldn’t manage to reveal what’s the secret 🫢
The timing of cooking is the key of success that is why it could take up some time before this amazing dish comes to you. I even ordered extra for the ala carte Hamburg steak 🤤🤤🤤
(While typing this, my saliva is drooling not kidding)

We also ordered other dishes like the kimchi set, black pepper chicken, sandwich, beef enoki. I must say all the food tasted superb. Kimchi soup is better than many Korean restaurant. For a super picky eater like me, I must say not even single order 踩雷。

Next.. talk about the coffee. Obviously the boss is also a coffee lover that he has again researched a lot and put in effort for the coffee. I heard new coffee menu is coming soon!

Conclusion: highly recommended.

Gentle reminder: the cafe can be a little busy sometimes becoz of the crowd.
If you’re in a rush then I would advise dun order the Hamburg steak. Or if you dun mind they would flatten the meat for you to let it cooked faster.

Bien que je ne parle pas français, vous pouvez toujours me croire sur parole pour cette revue. Il y règne une atmosphère agréable avec des serveurs accueillants qui servent une excellente cuisine. Je reviendrai! Je le recommande à tous ceux qui aiment les plats fusion coréens et japonais. 5 étoiles!
