The staff are soo friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderful. I made friends with a lovely family. The view from the rooftop is amazing all around. Had a drink and some dishes I’d never seen on a menu before and it was excellent. I love feta cheese. Deep fried feta cheese with a honey dip!? Wow. I am a country bumpkin at heart so I squirted some Tabasco into the honey after a while and… wow that dish can make a fat man happy. The quesadilla and nachos were very nice. It kinda gave me like a lamb chorizo vibe. Nice and greasy. I would add that.. although I didn’t try one.. they have some unique pizzas that sound amazing and would probably be great for a group to share and try different slices.

I came here to the rooftop bar while staying at a different lodging, because my host recommended it. They had a lot of non-alcoholic drink options. I had the lychee slushie, which was absolutely delicious, and the feta cheese sticks, which were alright; mainly western food options, and more expensive than local food but still affordable. Service was excellent.

But of course I didn't come for the drinks, I came for the pool and the view, and these did not fail to impress! The cool jacuzzi was an especially quiet spot, the vhairs around the pool were comfy, and of course the view was amazing all directions. I had a great afternoon relaxing and sunbathing here.

My only complaint is that their choice of flooring is not great. The stones are quite slippery in the rain, and the fake grass was too hot to walk barefoot in the sun. I suppose I could wear shoes instead of complaining. 😉

Riyaz Lavanya Langkawi is a prominent building as you stroll along the Cenang Beach in Langkawi. As we strolled, we noticed a roof top bar of sorts on top and after some Googling, we found that it belonged to SAIL, the rooftop bar & lounge of Riyaz Langkawi. We actually visited SAIL twice. The first time for some drinks to check out the premise and on our first visit, we found that they offer the Surf & Turf BBQ Buffet on the weekends from 7pm to 10pm at 98RM. Hence, we decided to check it out this weekend!

During our first visit to SAIL Rooftop Bar at Riyaz Langkawi, we bought a Guinness draft Beer (15 RM) and the Angel Cocktail (29 RM) while chilling out with the views that it offers. There is also a swimming pool here but it does not have direct sea views. Nonetheless, if you sit by one of the lounge chairs facing the sea, you’ll be able to enjoy these views…

I recently visited the stunning rooftop poolside bar called SAIL at The Riyaz Lavanya Langkawi Resort, and it was truly the best location ever for a sunset view! 🌅✨ The atmosphere was absolutely magical, making it a perfect spot to unwind. 🍹🌴

The view from the rooftop was breathtaking! 🌄 I couldn't take my eyes off the vibrant colors of the sky as the sun dipped below the horizon. 🌈🌞 It's definitely a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best sunset in Langkawi!

Now, let's talk about the food! 🍽️ Everything we ordered was excellent! From the appetizers to the main courses, each dish was bursting with flavor. 😋👌 And don’t get me started on the drinks! 🍸 They were simply marvelous! The mixologists really know how to craft the perfect cocktail. 🍹🥂

The jacuzzi added an extra touch of luxury to our experience. 🛁💕 It felt amazing to relax in the warm water while enjoying the stunning sunset views.

Overall, SAIL is a place that you must visit when in Langkawi! 🌟 It's the perfect blend of great food, amazing drinks, and unforgettable views. 🌊🌺 I can’t wait to go back!

Lovely place for a swim and a cocktail. Stayed for the sunset and the views all around - beautiful!
The staff were lovely but perhaps too few. The main guy (sorry, forgot his name, starts with F!) was a delight, but run off his feet. A couple of extra staff members would be useful as we would have ordered more drinks! Didn't eat there but might do next time.

Offenbar noch recht unbekannte Rooftopbar oben auf dem RIYAZ Lavanya Hotel, die man auch besuchen kann, wenn man nicht hier übernachtet. Die beste Aussicht, die wir bislang auf Langkawi hatten! Die Cocktails sind gut und kosten im Schnitt etwa 25 MYR. Es gibt auch einen Pool.

Haben dort an einem Abend zu zweit 4 Cocktails getrunken, 1 MaiTai, 1 Daiquiri mit Mango und 2 Pina Colada. Leider waren bis auf den Daiquiri alle Cocktails zu warm. Das darf in einem 5-Sterne-Haus nicht passieren und führt hier deshalb auch zur Abwertung, obwohl die Sail-Bar ein tolles Ambiente hat.
