Great coffee and the business starts at 8am early in the morning. Nice decorations and all neat and tidy. Big breakfast is sumptuous and the pancakes are just so good. Long Black really boost up the energy and mood.

We tried a variety of dishes, including the Big Breakfast, Butterscotch & Ice Cream Waffle, English Breakfast Hot Tea, and Chicken Parmesan Pizza.
The waffle was a standout, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, paired perfectly with the rich butterscotch sauce and creamy ice cream. The Chicken Parmesan Pizza was a thin-crust delight, packed with flavor and absolutely delicious, though it was served very late. Unfortunately, we had already finished the rest of our meal by the time it arrived.
The friendly and attentive staff made the experience pleasant despite the delay. Overall, a great place with delicious food, though the timing of dishes could be improved.

Lovely vibes! Went on a Friday morning and it was rather quiet. Sitting inside surrounded by the ‘nature’ decor made me feel like I was away from bustling city. Service staff was smiley and polite so that was great! Food wise, portions were generous. Presentation was excellent and got me hopeful but taste was sadly a bit of a let down.

Buffalo mozzarella salad - mozzarella was very disappointing; too solid and wasn’t well seasoned. Tomatoes weren’t very sweet.

Eggs Benedict deluxe - my partner didn’t really like this, I thought taste was a little bland (maybe more of the bacon and a better seasoned egg might help). But the egg was definitely overcooked so that’s definitely something the team could work on.

Cheese omelette with toast - I liked this one. It is a simple dish but portion was generous and cheese with egg is always yummy.

Overall, I still feel that this place is very promising. If they could improve the taste of the food, it would be perfect and the high prices would definitely be justified (given that the portions are good).

Had a late weekday lunch here. The food was well exceeding my expectations and really live up to the good reviews!

The fish and chips were fantastic—perfectly crispy on the outside while flaky and tender inside. The batter was light and not too greasy, and the portion size was generous. The accompanying tartar sauce was a perfect complement.

But the real surprise was the smoked salmon pizza! It’s not something I’d normally expect, but it was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy, and the smoked salmon was beautifully paired with a creamy cheesy sauce and a subtle hint of spices. The flavors were very rich and satisfying.

Will definitely be back to try other dishes

Super underrated. Cheerful staff! Good soul food . Quiet but vibrant environment. Staff are attentive and generally engaging. Good selection of food and drinks. Kids corner even available. Food are well presented. My avocados beacon toast is flavourful and savoury. Eggs Benedict on toast is well done. Definitely a good choice, for this sadly out of sight bistro.

I can't stop raving about this place. I had a lovely birthday celebration here. We arrived with the table already made up, and a cake with my name written on the plate. Service was great, every dish was very tasty. I highly recommend especially the pizzas and pastas. The environment was really nice and quiet, away from the mall crowd. Although this place is known for breakfast, dinner was equally great. I will definitely be back because this is truly an underrated gem of a place.

First time visiting, I can't believe it, this restaurant in Johor has some of the best coffee and western food I have ever had in Malaysia, superb!

First things first, in order to reach this restaurant you'd have to walk past the Coach store towards the outside, it will just look like an unassuming restaurant on the left.

I must say, although I have known their coffee to be quite good, I didn't think it to be THIS good, what stands out to me is how surprisingly it is. It didn't smell aromatic like most coffees do, maybe it's due to the outside winds or the air conditioning but it's a miracle that you can't really smell it. However, once you get a taste of the coffee, you'd realize how thick and delicious it is.

As someone who prefers tea over coffee, it made me consider switching 😂. What's even more impressive is I have noticed that the latte art doesn't go away even when you drink it more than halfway, superb artisanship!

Alright, now you may be asking, if the coffee is so good what about the food? I can safely say the food is superb as well!

The spinach mushroom carbonara was super creamy, thick and the Orecchiette pasta was also a unique but nice touch making it addicting! I only wished it had a bigger portion! 😔

The bagel with salmon avocado was great as well. Although it was a big tough to cut, it's crispy and super soft on the inside, the fresh raw salmon with avocado is pretty standard, the good kind.

Their signature Hawaii pizza was also a huge standout, they used fresh pineapples instead of canned ones, their cheese is fantastic and the pizza is pretty thin and crispy!

Moving on, we had amazing service from the staff from start to finish. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a door gift gingerbread man cake to thank us for our patronage, what a gesture! They also served our food rather quickly and were proactive in giving us sharing plates and water refills etc.

However, these gestures won't affect my review stance, not that Antipodean needs to worry about that for my experience in this visit.

Finally, the pricing is about expected for a place like this being on the above average side, but it's well worth it! I also really like their huge written menu on the chalkboard, brings a sort of feeling that you get overseas.

Overall, a fantastic experience and will definitely come again if I'm ever in Johor Bahru.
