Menjadi pilihan utama dalam senarai kalau ke Johor Bahru. Recommended. Cuma menu yang tertera tak sama seperti yang dihidangkan di Causeway Cafe. Walaupun begitu bagus dalam pelbagai menu.

03/11/2022 Hotel baharu di Johor Bahru. Di bawah hotel ada pusat membeli belah Midvalley. Ada pawagam dan macam-macam tempat membeli belah. Parking di sini flat rate RM5. Bilik event di tingkat 7. Staf sangat friendly dan sentiasa bekerjasama. Bilik penginapan belum pernah duduk lagi. Mungkin jika diberi diskaun yang menarik saya akan cuba.

Stayed at St. Giles Southkey last month, and the location was a big win—direct access to the mall was super convenient for my partner and me. The room was spacious with a decent view but felt pretty basic for a 4-star hotel that promised its guests a taste of luxury.

Check-in could’ve been smoother since one of our access cards didn’t work. Breakfast had plenty of variety, but the crowd made it hard to enjoy—a bigger space or separate restaurant would help. We had to queue at every station even though we dined before peak hour.

Overall, a solid stay for the location and convenience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

This was our first time staying at St Giles, and we opted for 2 nights rather than 1 night. We'd a pleasant stay on the 20th floor. The view, whether city or river, is nothing to shout about, although the bay window seat is lovely. The toilet space is tight, especially when opening the toilet door. Mineral water was not provided in the room, and beverages were limited. We asked for extra tissues, and they arrived in about 20 minutes. Though crowded, we were able to beat the breakfast queue by having an earlier breakfast at 6+am. The spread is good, but since our capacity is limited, we focused only on our preferences. Service at the breakfast place was generally good despite a few random staff who could do better. Special shout out to the front desk staff who went out of his way to help us during our stay. When we checked out, we decided to try a different route to CIQ by taking T21 from a bus stop close by the hotel (which was easily accessible from the basement). It took us about 15 minutes to arrive at our destination, after waiting for 10-15 minutes.
