I visited for their lunch à la carte menu, and the food was delicious and above average. The ingredients were fresh, and all dishes were prepared upon order. They don’t serve any precooked meals, allowing you to adjust the flavors to suit your taste buds. Be cautious with their spicy dishes, as they can be quite fiery—make sure to request less spice if needed.

Side note: Do prepare yourself a mosquito repellent if you are easily attracted to mosquito.

The food is quite good, definitely above average. But the main issue is the lack of staff. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was quite hard to get hold of a service crew because there were only three people working. One was handling the tea bar and cocktail bar, one was at the cashier, and the last one had to manage all the customers. I honestly feel that having one or two more staff would make the service much smoother.

The environment, though, is really top-notch—super chill and peaceful. It’s perfect for someone like me who enjoys getting away from the hustle and bustle. It’s a great place to have meaningful conversations and spend quality time with someone special.

Came here a few years ago and they had weekend brunch as well but the menu had much less dishes to choose from so the price was lower. This time we brought a friend over for weekend brunch, the menu had much more options and the price was also much higher. The food was tasty but the service was not quite satisfactory. We ordered some dishes we liked several times as they were very small portions but they just sent us other dishes that we did not order, but as they were yummy, we just ate. The speed of serving was not fast enough, either, which made us feel that they were delaying to slow down our eating speed. Otherwise, this is a nice place to dine.

It’s important to note that reviews matter. It matters when we pay a high price when we dine out and we expect the food and the experience to match the money spent.
In this case, it wasn’t an experience we were hoping for. We booked a table for 2 to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary. Having travelled to countries in SEA, I was expecting to be served quality food like the region – as mentioned in the description of each food item on the menu. Unfortunately, we were utterly disappointed.
We ordered a coconut chicken soup to start with. Although the clear broth has some flavour- the sub par ingredients of some chicken, tomatoes and mushrooms, left room for lots of improvement. I was wondering if there was going to be more to this dish. Sub par ingredients were consistent throughout our meal.
For our mains we ordered garlic fried rice to share, a beef in coconut dish and a chicken and jackfruit red curry. I can’t even begin to explain how ridiculously unappetising and tasteless these dishes were (watered down, lacked spiciness in the red curry, meat that tasted like rubber -both chicken and beef, the jackfruit was overcooked and looked suspiciously old ...I can't really explain this as it tasted powdery). We ATE, because we had already ordered, and nothing could be done. I was utterly speechless, and my husband was holding back his comments because he didn’t want to ruin the evening.
The food seriously cannot even be compared to ‘Kedai Tomyam Pak Mat’ by the roadside. Roadside stalls sell cheap food but with more flavour and authenticity than Tamarind Springs. What these roadside stalls have, which is honesty and integrity in their food, Tamarid Springs does not.
We had one watermelon juice which tasted like water, and I had a Rose’ which was ok…just ok.
We spent just about RM270 for our meal. The only thing we enjoyed was the rain which calmed our souls during our meal. The service was good as well, but service does not make up for the money we spent on such a bad meal. We were prepared to pay for a nice evening out, we even researched the menu before arriving. I had such high hopes.

Also please note that our food came out quite fast after ordering, that itself was a telltale sign...too fast. Precooked?

I should have read the reviews before dining in Tamarid Springs. I hope YOU will too. Trust me, spend your hard-earned money somewhere else. I would say....this is one meal experience which taught us an expensive lesson.

緑が多く、店全体の雰囲気がリゾート地に来たような写真映えするレストラン。食事は、特別美味しいと言うわけでは無いが雰囲気が良いので居心地の良いレストランだった。海鮮のグリルは美味でした。
週末のブランチは予約時に1人50リンギがクレジットカードにチャージされます。当日の会計で支払った分は差し引かれるし2日前に予約をキャンセルすれば返金されるので心配はありません。ただし、会計時に予約確約時のデポジットの領収書を見せてと言われるので、スクリーンショットで控えておくと会計がスムーズに行きます。山奥の店なので電波が悪くメールの読み込みに時間がかかりました。
