Wasn’t a planned trip but was pleasantly surprised.
The dim sum were decent, we especially liked the charsiew bao and shrimp cake. The “ma lai go” 馬來糕 was pretty fluffy and flavourful.
Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for tea break.

The food arrived at our table almost immediately after we ordered our food. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing. The place is very clean and the food was at an affordable price.

A classic dim sum joint in Batu Pahat with almost everything you can wish for. Dim sum served are delicious and piping hot, all at an affordable price too! Just a reminder that weekends mornings are very crowded, better be there before 9am to prevent any disappointment.

The dim sum dishes are not well heated and the favour of the food not quite fragrance. This restaurant has to keep and maintain their cooking skills. Hope they will serve us a great delicious dim sum dishes to satisfy the demand of client's taste butt.

1. Fried carrot cake must eat! Best in Malaysia that I have ever had. ( I am from ipoh).
2. Love their home made shrimp chili paste. It is fragrant and spicy.
3. Chee cheong fun texture is qq, quite special and appetising.
4. Char siew bao texture won’t “stick my throat”. I like it.
5. Porridge delicious too.

I try to patronise places for foods with good reviews from Google Maps: high rating : above 3.6 & received many reviews. Ming Castle is one of them & it satisfied me very well : Dim Sum is fresh,hot & delicious, good Pu Er tea & price is affordable. When I asked the female captain about where to buy the tea before I made the payment at the counter. She replied with a smile and even gave me a few packages. This is what I learned before: extra mile service, service above expection or excellent services. A very important & valuable factor, especially in the food industry. It is a really good start for me in the morning, and I love Batu Pahat even more.

From the four dishes ordered, only like the taste of Steam Prawn Cheong Fun. Others is so-so only.

The Steamed Imperial Har Kau is a little bit dry for my taste, I've eaten juicier bites!
Same for the Scallop Siu Mai.

Kids may like Golden Fried Shrimp Ball. Crispy on the outside.
